Before we started the jam that became 'Moonlight', it was agreed that this would be a track for lying down to. A hot London Summer was coming to a close, and the feeling of seeing things straight for a moment after removing your rose tinted glasses was the sentiment that carried us forward.

It began as the poem above, and draws similarities between our external world and internal states. The rush of the city clouding your judgement, the feeling of life being so busy you have no time to entertain yourself, even sometimes within your own body.

That doesn’t leave a lot of room for love to grow... And as those glasses come off, the person you thought you were facing has their back to you. That bright star you thought you were looking at is dying and all you can do is acknowledge the light for exactly what it is, in that moment.
